We understand that many people wish to remain at home despite requiring assistance and that is where we like to help. We can assist you with washing, dressing and bathing to enable you to remain at home for as long as possible. Our staff will ensure that you are treated with respect and will always maintain your dignity. You might also require the carers to live-in or provide sleep-in or waking night service.
Angel Care have specialist experience of supporting individuals, and their families, living with dementia. We understand the range of support and care required for individuals going through what can often be confusing, frightening and lonely and are here to talk about what is important to you or your loved ones and what you require from a care and support plan. Our aim is to help to manage the symptoms of dementia so that you can retain as much independence as possible and offer peace of mind and comfort to individuals’ loved ones in times of need.
We provide End-of-life care and support to our service users who are nearing the end of their life. At Angel Care, we ensure that end-of-life care is person-centred. This means we identify service users' physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs and plan care and support that meets them.
Angle Care companionship care provides healthy interactions and activities that promote physical and cognitive health and well-being, through avoiding isolation, helping to maintain social skills, engaging in stimulating interactions and encouraging reminiscing, for example, by reading or helping to collate a memory book. Our Angel Care companionship care will help improve your self-esteem, sense of purpose and confidence.
Palliative care is a person’s treatment, care and support from when they are first diagnosed with a life-limiting (terminal) illness. End-of-life care is part of palliative care and is the treatment, care and support service users receive.
We are aware of the importance of respite for those who have become full-time carers of loved ones. Sometimes you are so busy taking care of someone that you forget to take some time for yourself. We understand that being able to trust someone to care for your loved one. Our care staff have undergone a rigorous vetting process, are trained to a very high standard, and would be introduced slowly before any break to allow you and your loved one to build a relationship with the carers. Whether the respite is to be for a holiday, hospital appointment or if you need it in an emergency after becoming sick, the care we will deliver will be tailored to meet your needs.
